What have musicians got against Octopii?

Our hula hooping friend (previously) is back and throwing an Octopus. What have musicians got against Octopii?

They are jealous of the octopus's multiple arms and excellent sense of rhythm. If cephalopods had the slightest sense of lyric structure, no human would ever work in the industry again. Well, OK, they are crap on woodwinds, but, other than that....

Anyone else remember how it seemed like everyone was doing breaking glass in music videos, followed by falling water, cheap animation, and the evergreen crusty-looking old man?
