"Mos Eisely Spaceport ... it's a fucking shithole."
June 17, 2010 5:32 PM   Subscribe

50 Impressions in Two Minutes and Classic Movie Lines (neither of which are precisely what you think), followed by acting master classes with Kevin Spacey, Ralph Fiennes, Michael Caine, Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro, and, last but certainly not least, Marlon Brando. All by Peter Serafinowicz, who you may know as Spaced's Duane Benzie or Shaun of the Dead's Pete. (Thanks, iridic!)

"Mos Eisley Space Bar, it's a fucking shithole."

Okay, that alone was worth it.

Oh voice of Darth Maul, is there no-one you can't impersonate?

Okay, color me surprised: I thought "the voice of Darth Maul" was just a comic bit. But he was indeed Darth Maul's voice. Lucas ... did something right?

I don't know him as either of those, but I do know him as the host of Look Around You. Thanks, WCityMike. ThWCityMike.

I've been greeting my friends with a hearty "HELLLLLLLOOOOOOOOO, Mildred!" ever since I saw this.

Oh, my goodness. Anyone who hasn't seen Spaced or Shaun of the Dead ... I envy them, for they have two great gems left in the universe that they've yet to discover. Spaced's on Hulu if that's an option for you.

The Michael Caine one is my favorite, but I also like his takes on game shows: Heads or Tails, Who would like to win £100?

But nothing beats the Butterfield Karaoke Bar.

So come down to Butterfield Karaoke. Where dreams become memories. Guaranteed.

Actually, I lied. I have seen Spaced. On Hulu, no less. I just completely don't remember his character.

Actual Michael Caine masterclass. (Much funnier after seeing Peter's impression.) And also, Kevin Spacey imitates just about everybody (except Peter).

Butterfield Diet Plan and Rings & Tings are two of my favorites.

LobsterMitten: double, though it's always fun to see him.

Well, fortunately there's just one double. Although the double-filter didn't trigger.

Eideteker: Actually, I lied. I have seen Spaced. On Hulu, no less. I just completely don't remember his character.

Duane was the guy with the abnormally deep voice who used to be Tim's best friend but endedd up stealing his girlfriend. Remember the paintball standoff? That's him.

He also directed one of the best music videos I've seen in ages.

bpm140: WHAT WAS THAT? What the hell was that? We just watched it and now Pirate-Bartender-Zombie-Monkey is clutching his head and blankly muttering "I don't even know how to contextualize that" as he wanders around the living room.

I mean... what was that? Who was that? It had me shrieking with laughter, but I have no idea what was going on.

I didn't have as much of a problem with it, but after reading Grant Morrison's Invisibles and Filth maxiseries, my brain's WTF?!?!?!?! immunities have been profoundly boosted.
