Yes...it has a very 5 minute feel to it. As in, this guy planned it out in his head 5 minutes prior to taping.

What is the Japanese like on this? Is it native-speaker Japanese, well-educated college Japanese, or totally half-assed incomprehensible Japanese? I feel like knowing about the level of Japaneseness (is that a word?) would enormously help my understanding of the videos.

LOL! I thought I would be scared with the video. It is very far different with the Godzilla movies. Better to make your own scary movie script.

The Japanese is passable...on his other website it says he's studied for 8 years and been teaching for the last 2. He does some deliberate mispronunciations that are funny as hell to a longtime expat.
