I am so in love with Community. I almost didn't watch it because of Chevy Chase and a passable-but-not-outstanding pilot, but it really is one of the more brilliant comedies on TV at the moment.

Funny, I thought the pilot was one of the strongest first episodes out there. I love Community. Oh my goodness. This is the first I have ever heard of Danny Glover as Childish Gambino (and thus of Danny Glover as MC DJ, under which name he did remixes).
Back in 2006 he did a couple customremixes for my blog, Said the Gramophone. We fell out of touch when he sent me his album and I didn't find it particularly gobsmacking.

What blows my mind is that he left 30 Rock before had any acting roles lined up. Now that's gutsy.
