First of all, I'm joking. Secondly, you're missing the point - it's not the single link that is being bitched about, it's the content. I could point out a thousand great single link posts. In fact, there is one a few posts above this. It seems to me that a great single link post works on several levels, as that one does. A great photo that helped shape public opinion, a great story along with that photo, a compelling question of art vs. advertising ( vs. public policy?). It contains multitudes. A post about a dog whose howl sounds like the Batman theme? Cute, but like the dog, a novelty.
