His palms must hurt

Thought by many to have the best smartphone OS on the planet, even the Palm Pre and Pre Plus can have problems if you drop them and crack the screen. One fellow, however, bought a new screen, and spent three hours replacing his old one. Luckily, he recorded it and put it to some cool tunes. Oh yeah, it's timelapsed to 4:41 now. Watch, and be amazed as this dude puts something right that was previously wrong. [Vimeo]

I don't work for Palm or anything, btw. :P I just love tech, and watching this dude take this apart and put it back together kicked ass. :P Plus the music was new and interesting, and totally fit. :D

This post was deleted for the following reason: cool time lapse, but this is kind of an over the top ad for Palm -- mathowie

Wow, he's got another cool one in there... Apparently this one is pictures he took on his camera for seven months put to music. Again, good stuff. :)

Cool. I'm looking forward to the new Pre 2 sometime in the next few months...hopefully it will be a pretty spectacular phone.

Yeah, me too... With bated breath. I love my pre (especially with an overclocked kernel and preware etc), but would like to see what HP/Palm comes up with. :)

And the PalmPad (HP apparently trademarked or whatever) that name should kick serious ass, and I plan on having one. :P I love how WebOS multitasks, and it's so damn intuitive. :P

Replaced the screen on one of my old T|Xs...pain in the ass, took several tries to get it to work, but it was ultimately quite satisfying. I miss my Palms...I really prefer the stylus over fingertip.
