The Great Internet Migratory Box Of Electronics Junk

Apparently there are now many Migratory Boxes, each one growing and producing new Boxes on its own. This is probably how the grey goo starts.

Plus it's pretty awesome and I'd never heard of it.

aka, "Pass the Trash."

Do they have a shipping container-sized variant for entire garages full of junk? Just sayin'...

I think i could personally provide at least two dozen tgimboejs. PCI modems were apparently popular at some point... and how did I end up with eight soundcards?

This is just the thing to help me get Hulu running on my Commodore PET.

I love this. My wife often pokes fun at my trusty "wires box," which has grown over the years and is now "wires closet." It is a tangled amalgamation of chargers, plugs, patch cords, adapters, and god knows what from the time I started tinkering. It has rarely failed me when I needed to hook that thingee up to the other guy.

Perhaps a MeFi tgimboej swap is in order. I bet we have particularly fun electronic junk.

The word "junk" appears on this page (with photos!) 11 times. 'Nuff said.

I could supply a whole barrel full of random wires and wall warts. I don't even know where the actual devices that these things powered went to.

However! I did just find out that Our Fair City will take any and all electronics junk and recycle it. If you've got an overflowing pile in your basement, you should see if your city takes e-waste. I especially like that they're so visible about where it all goes.

Anybody interested in actually doing a MeFi tgimboej as AgentRocket suggests?
