Designers'Couch is a new community of creatives whose goal is to create a vibrant community of passionate writers, artists and designers by providing them a space to showcase their work - encouraging them to network and share critiques. They also feature helpful articles to inspire, teach, and inform artists.

HP printers print on silk and cotton. I've done it. Spend $2,000 on a printer, $5 per yard on specially treated and paper backed fabric, and you're done. And you have come out ahead on whatever services they are plugging.

It's not a print-on demand service like Cafe Press/Zazzle. Where do you buy one of those printers though? Can you give me a link? That sounds pretty cool.

Hey, Fantodastic, it's an HP Designjet 130. It's probably the same process Spoonflower uses, but it is more economical for larger projects. Services like the ones in the article are probably great for hobbyist crafters, or for instance, to make gifts, but if you want to sell things at a reasonable price and still make a profit, it pays to invest in your own equipment.
