happy birthday jakobThough we all like to scream about his pronouncements or catch him when he makes an error in his own rules, it's time everyone who has a job relating to human factors to acknowledge that Jakob Nielsen's tireless promoting of usability is very likely the reason our bosses or our clients are willing to consider allowing usability testing. Thanks guy! Wish I could afford to buy you that rogers and hamerstein collection...

Are you sure this is the same guy? Maybe our Jakob is really a James Patterson fan. Or perhaps he wishes for nothing at all, save a usable Web (not to be confused with usableweb.com, of course).

Doesn't it seem like three crusty usability dudes got together and formed a company just so they could staff it with a variety of reasonably attractive women? I don't see a single guy except them ;-)

Not to mention that Jakob's latest column is nothing more than a direct plug for his e-commerce report and a conference of his.

But don't get me wrong, I actually think he's quite a good guy.
