Dear god, doesn't anyone see what's going on here? "Vecna Industries"? Forget the Terminator references, you know it's getting really real when Greyhawk starts popping up in the Military Industrial Complex. It's all there in the AD&D Dungeon Master's Guide man - it's ALL THERE. Wake up weresheeple.

The teddy bear head, which I gather is supposed to be comforting, is creepy.

They should just go with the classic Johnny Five look. (Hey, it worked for Wall-E.)

The last ten years I've been constantly surprised that the most realistic combat robot from 80s movies is Johnny 5 from Short Circuit, it being a light-hearted comedy and all.

Its amazing how all applied robotics labs look the same and have the same looking guys basically working in them. Why is one of them always half an outfit change from a Rennisance Fair?

today at work i got about 45 minutes into making a video that cross cut between clips of short circuit and the BEAR Robot weightlifting/smashing stuff set to the rocky iv theme... i was going to have it culminate in a fight vs ed-209 from robocop but i came to my senses and just went home early instead.
