"Everything's Better With Muppets" (Can't argue with that.) from Spray featuring Ricardo Autobahn (previously) who also gave props to another cultural icon with the also-true "DEVO Was Right About Everything" (DLYT)

I have to say I like Ms. Piggy doing Peaches a little better, even though the Spray video is more technically accomplished. Everything is better with Muppets, though, except Peter Jackson.

"...and as such deserves some respect." Now there's a phrase you don't hear in pop songs very often.

Now there's a phrase you don't hear in pop songs very often.

Not to mention "liberal guilt".

Due largely to MeFi I saw DEVO on their most recent tour (awesome show), and their new album was the soundtrack for my summer.

Like most of us, the spudboys have gotten older. Several tunes on "Something for Everybody", although delivered with the usual DEVO energy, have a melancholy edge. As Jerry Casale has stated, "we kind of hoped we'd be wrong about [de-evolution]." Nice to see their message validated musically.

Let me once again thank oneswellfoop, anazgnos, markkraft Rory Marinich and and all other fellow MeFi Devo-tees and beautiful mutants for helping keep things Fresh.
