I find these deeply alien, creepy and disturbing.

I love the behind-the-panda ears POV shot before he starts smashing stuff.

It's like, oh no you didn't!

I'm pretty sure they're Iranian.

Yeah, I want to know where these are from. So odd. Also: is it good cheese?

Just when I'm getting discouraged about the tone of political discourse in this country, and I'm feeling overwhelmed with all the stuff I have to do at work, and just kind of wondering what is the point of everything, along comes something like this to remind me that yes, indeed, the world is a wonderful place.

If you would have told me when I woke up this morning that I would see a series of hilarious Egyptian commercials involving a panda suit and cheese, I don't think I would have believed you.

Why say no when yes feels so right?

My boyfriend's nickname is panda. These commercials are weird for me.

Still, funnier than I expected.

The key here is never to be put in a situation where you can refuse Panda. I think it's the act that summons him.

...Then again, it was pretty unprovoked that last time. Who knows. That panda comes from Circumstances, man.

Grizzly, man.

Saw this on Laughing Squid and thought, that last quick shot of the panda adjusting the angle of the cheese box relative to the POV is chillingly brilliant.

The thing I really love about these is that they show a completely different view of Egypt than what we usually get in the US. All we ever typically see of Egypt is divided between terrorism/Islamic militancy on one side and archaeology on the other side. We never get to see the deadpan wacky side of Egypt that's shown in these commercials.

World peace and harmony through cheese, I always say....

(Ummm....I mean....uhh..Panda Cheese. Yeah!! Lots and lots of Panda cheese...err...ha...)
