The Gangster Prince of Liberia

Adam Higginbotham wrote an interesting article in 2007 about Chuckie Taylor's reign of terror in Liberia. (Note: PDF link)

Charles Arther Emmanuel aka Chuckie, was an accomplice in the atrocities committed by his dad, former Liberian strongman Charles Taylor.

A petty criminal in Florida before going to Africa, Chuckie is the first person to stand trial in the U.S. under the Convention Against Torture. Chuckie was sentenced to 97 years in prison in 1999.

Since when has anyone called him "Chuckie" Taylor?

I've never heard him called that before and certainly there are a lot more Google hits for "Charles Taylor" then "Chuckie Taylor" The Wikipedia Article doesn't contain the word "Chuckie" anywhere in the body.

Seems pretty stupid and immature. Like calling them "Joey Stalin" and "Stinky Hitler"

I propose that the mods delete the first 4 comments in this thread and change "2007" to "2009."
