After publishing the lying, hateful anti-Obama screed (and backing it up with his editorial in the same issue) Forbes needed to be seen with a black person, so, of course, he picked a rapper.

If only the Forbes site wasn't so badly designed...

Here's a tip to fellow MeFites: if someone is criticizing site design, and the site isn't significantly worse than any other establishment media website, the criticism isn't really about site design.

Bad website design IS so much more noticeable when coupled with bad content.

"...then Mr. Z thumped a polite beat on the diner table. The diners looked over to see Warren stand up, take of his coat and rip into his first rhyme:

B to tha U, double-eff
ET, we 'out 'dis world, in da bass clef
pink malt, shit is so def
me and hova -man- nobody great-ah
We the stocks, don't check the beta
Got dividends, then hit me lata
There's blue chips, then dis is black
Sell short, 'cause we on the attack...

Best part of the article.

Have you noticed how Steve Forbes seems to talk like a robot? It's really weird. The fact that he's "venerated" as some kind of business god is all the more reason for a 90% inheritance tax

oneswellfoop is so right about this...i havent seen one person get an answer from forbes editorial about why and how they could publish one of the most goddamn demeaning things ive ever put my eyes on.

Except when it is. jourman2 didn't say that the site was significantly worse than other MSM websites. He said it was badly designed.

SF: Jay, where you grew up, you could have easily ended up being put away.

SF: Jay, I'm actually really afraid of you, but I'm going to condescend to you and pretend I'm hip and with-it for the purposes of this "interview." At least you aren't a Kenyan anti-colonialist.
