Once more with feeling!

I apologize in advance for the Google translation, but..... ITS ON! AGAIN! With photos! Latin America Coup Part Deux of the Obama Administration kicks off today with the physical attack and seclusion of the President of Ecuador Rafael Correa by the police. Now I'm not sayin we should expect more of the same, but if you think its hot down there now, just wait till the US gets its new Colombian military bases up and running along with a Fourth Fleet dragged from the mothballs. Why, it'll be just like the 80s all over again. Or was that the seventies. Whoops. I must have meant the 60s. No, make that the 50s. Dammit!

Thank goodness there isn't any editorializing in this post. Then we'd really be in trouble.

"The White House expressed support for Mr. Correa and urged a peaceful end to the crisis. “The United States deplores violence and lawlessness and we express our full support for President Rafael Correa, and for the institutions of democratic government in that country,” Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said in a statement." - NY Times.

Unimpressive and flawed post.
