Yeah, but this one had a unicorn game with fairies and rainbows, all set to a Erasure soundtrack.

Looks like it's back up....now that I've ruined the surprise.

Does it play Erasure's "Always" as well? I can't have unicorns without that song anymore.

Lordy, it's true! And... pink.

Oh...apparently this is a really well-known game. Egg, and my face, are in alignment.

Enter the Konami Code on this Metafilter page and a comment on the relationship between "BYU," "rainbows," and "Erasure" will magically appear

first time I've seen this game, too, or heard this song! ahhh I love it.

It should be noted that BYU Astronomy doesn't actually believe in Robot Unicorn Planet. That would be silly.

My daughter makes me play this game on my iPhone before bed. Every night. While she watches.

If I make it to the triple dolphins, her squeals of delight often wake the baby.

Of course it we had a copy! What kind of children's librarian do you take me for?

if you say the kind that sits at the public service desk and plays unicorn games, you'd be right.

I believe this joke was perpetrated by the guys from the Nonneutral Plasma Research Group. Just look at those faces.

If it works for you - what browser and OS do you use? It does not work for me; on Windows 7, I tried both Firefox 3.6 and Internet Explorer 8.

I think they disabled it. Not working any more.

Nonneutral Plasma Research Group

We have a biased media, biased government, and biased companies, and now plasma researchers are also biased? And not only that, they advertise it in their name? *sigh* What is this world coming to?
