According to YouTube, a Welsh pizza complaint to ASDA is related to Cheryl Cole. But that was a glorious punchline. And it gave some hope to the poor soul who has to man the ASDA help line.

I was briefly a phone operator and these were the types of calls that kept me going late at night. My favorite was a guy that talked like an old blues singer and played the "I'm a man" break on his harmonica after every sentence. It was the Pre-Jerky Boys/Punk'd days, so I'm sure the prank calls were less frequent than they are now.

Great. Just Great. Now they will add a step to every call center script in the UK to check if things are upside down. I already lose 15 minutes of my life every time BT connects a new internet customer in my area and the techs disconnect my service but now in addition to the blinking light quiz, cable checking, power on, DSL filter crap I have to go through every time they are now going to ask if my router is upside down. This is not funny. It is ominous.

I don't understand how this is a prank. There aren't any insults or yelling. Humour isn't all about insults or yelling. This would be filed under 'good natured' or 'self-deprecating'. It's a refreshing change from the norm for this kind of thing.
