CAKE!!! CAKE!!!! I have a three and a half year old son and I often wonder what is going on in his mind. I think this explains some....

Oh jeez, sorry for the snark. I immediately regret it.

I think I might be Allie Brosch. Y'know, if I were much funnier, half my age, and had an awesome talent for making crude MSPaint drawings incredibly expressive.

See, this is why when you make a cake for An Event you should always skimp just slightly on filling the pans and reserve enough to make a cupcake. That way, when you have a gorgeous cake all packed up and ready to go and your parent/partner/child/self screams "WANT CAKE NOW" you have something with which to quench the need.

The first commandment of cake baking: Thou shalt not deprive thine neighbor of cake.

I mean in the kindest possible way, cherryflute, because I remember making my first FPP and thinking "Will they like it? Hate it? Hate me?" and one's maiden FPP voyage is scary. (actually, I still think that now, for any FPP)

but I'm with muddgirl. Allie Brosh always does bring the funny, but at the end of the day, she's one more blogger with one more gimmick.

A really awesomely funny gimmick, no doubt... but I don't think it belongs here.
