I do a similar thing at Xmas for my kids -- I buy those little plastic animals at the craft store, and take them down the basement, where they meet The Dremel. They come back up as awesome German-Shepard/Shark hybrids and the like. That's stocking stuffer gold at the flanders house.

Etsyfilter.

While I'm not a fan of the sales pitch, I have to admit that these are cute and I probably wouldn't have seen them otherwise.

But I still don't want to buy one.

These are awesome! I love this little guy. Weak forearms and a weak jaw...so cute! So useless! Aww!

It seems that I find anything with a turkey head on it rather creepy. I just double checked and that includes turkeys.

I think it'd be kinda awesome to mess with a kid and give him these and not the actual "correct" animals and see what kind of worldview he ends up with.

Yeah, still not *buying* one though.
