Words of the World is a site dedicated to the exploration and life of words and language.

Creator, Brady Haran, is also known for his sites exploring the Bible with Bibledex, Chemistry with the Periodic Table of Videos, Physics with Sixty Symbols and the people that make the science happen at the University of Nottingham with Test Tube.

Re: the physics and chemistry videos- Producing content in video form does not exempt you from being interesting.

I'm not too crazy about a website ostensibly about words being mostly links to youtube videos. Seems contrary to the purpose.

Yes, not in the top 100 words sites. But a youtube video about cannibalism which tied in the doctrine of transubstantiation to the explorer era and the simultaneous hostility between the Catholics and the Protestants was something I'd thought about but never seen mentioned before...
