The thing's hollow—it goes on forever—and—oh my God—it's full of polygons!

So that basically looks unplayable.

If I click that link, am I going to see dead babies? (How about a little bit of description in the post, OK? So that I have some idea of what I might be getting into?)

Good thing no one gets to play it.

It's not real? *sad_bloop* D:

VVVVVV was fantastic, the music doubly so. You can give the game's demo a whirl here, or sample the soundtrack (PPPPPP) here.

So... this is nothing more than a link to an old-fashioned-looking video game trailer? And? What am I missing here?

If you played VVVVVV, you will understand that this is a horror film.

What am I missing here? --- This is one of those things that you need something to something it.

What am I missing here?

A clever take on one of the most lauded video games of 2010. Take a look at the stuff in Rhaomi's link.

Stuff that, coincidentally, should have been in the FPP.

So exactly how is this different from that deleted tea post?

It's not about tea.

Clearly, this should be about you.

One of the later Sonic The Hedgehog games had a level where you had to maneuver in a similar fashion. Instead of being able to change the gravity direction on whim, you had to pull levers to change it.

(Apologies if this turns into a "New Sonic Games Suck" derail)

bionic.junkie: It's okay. I don't even prefer that Sonic game.

I'm kind of surprised VVVVVV gets so much attention. Doesn't anyone remember Metal Storm for the NES?

So... now it's Run?

Um, that theme sounds an awful lot like like the Guile theme...

Sooo... this is something you need to have experience of a particular video game to get, and if you have that experience, you might find it apposite and amusing.

Sure sounds like best of the web to me.

Good, I like it too! Let's be friends!

I think it would have been better if when it went 3d, he went straight down the tunnel instead of walking around the walls.

empath: "I think it would have been better if when it went 3d, he went straight down the tunnel instead of walking around the walls."

I'm disappointed first in myself for not thinking of this, and second in the video maker for not making it a part of the posited game, perhaps playfully, with a "hey, here's a neat way through all this mess" (player falls down the z-axis avoiding all sorts of mayhem) only to get his comeuppance when the game anticipates this.
