I would have liked this better if that guy's accent hadn't been so crummy. And if some of the jokes had been funnier. The noir lighting and the titles were awesome, though!

Also, the number on the office door should've been 1138. MISSED OPPORTUNITY.

I was grinacing the whole way through. (That's when you're half-grinning and half-grimacing.)

Brilliant set up and the titles are superb so it does seem churlish to pick up on that...Er...English-Canadian-somewherelse accent.

Half those gags were so old, I was expecting Bob Hope and Milton Berle to steal 'em back.

Good performances probably could have saved it.

Good performances probably could have saved it.

And some good writing.

The colors were nice.

As corny as it was, it still deserves a thumbs up. The delivery was superb, a brilliant homage to both Star Wars and uh, old movies.

How many different takes of the Star Wars universe are there going to be?

Though, truth be told, noir does work- check out this story (part I of IV).

They tried to get way, way too much mileage out of meta commentary. The "yet" joke was tired the first time, and they ran it into the ground. Strikes me as lazy, as there's plenty of actual content in Star Wars to have a noir scene work well.

Good production values and all, but writing fail.

I liked it, and I'd be up for more like this:

Abbot and Costello Meet the Sith Lords
The Road to Coruscant
A Night at the Death Star
Eddie Cantor in "Pardon My Midichlorians"

Aw, I loved it. Some of the writing was clunky but that just makes it more accurate to the era.

Honestly, if that guy's accent wasn't so wretched, I'd give the so-so writing a pass. Dude really killed my enjoyment of what was otherwise a perfectly decent pastiche.

I thought it was hilarious. I ... I don't actually laugh out loud very often when reading. This was one of those times, though.

I just wanted to tell you both good luck. We're all counting on you.

That's how this goes isn't it?

This was incredibly hilarious, and anyone who doesn't think so is insane. "That's no moon... that's a vase, Grayson." HILARIOUS, I tell you.
