Given the recent cinematic floppery of late, I was pleasantly surprised when I came across an article about real-world Artificial Intelligence that was written in a solid down-to-Earth manner about some very technical concepts. If you're into AI it should be worth a look to you. How would you like to have a computer that learns and adapts? Heh...how'd you like your computer to pout because you won't buy the latest processor? ;}

Hmm...not very much, actually.

Huh??

Anyway, back to the story. Another place worth looking at is Mind Pixel. Not saying it's the greatest experiment, but it has its interesting side.

The one that always makes me laugh are the "Robot Wars" type shows. They are NOT robots, they're just radio controlled junk. They don't meet any of the criteria of being robots, but I guess we should learn that media+marketing=crap.

I am sure Intel will add this "feature" to their Pentium chips as soon as they can figure out how to implement it. It's the next step beyond viral marketing.
