Pikachu pans? Xbox boxers? Metal Gear Mountain Dew? Stranger things have happened! It's still new, but Game Swag may soon be the definitive source for info on weird video game crap.
Creator Clyde "Tomato" Mandelin describes Game Swag as "part news blog (focusing only on game merchandise, of course), part game merchandise database, part Wiki-style collaborative site, and part social media." (You may remember Tomato from the fan translation of Mother 3 [previously].)

I normally like to comment on things Mountain Dew, but I'm speechless.
limeonaire- I think it's only available in Japan. Maybe someone there can report.

Needs to have a subsite for Game Developer Conference swag. I know two people who shipped their loot back via fedex because they had so much stuff.
I'm also trying to get ahold of somebody at high-moon studios. Their gun-shaped bottle opener keychain is functional and attractive.

Ha! I'm wearing PS2 boxer shorts at this exact moment. I got them free at Coachella in '05. Good times.

When I was a kid, my mom used to pick me up all sorts of awesome t-shirts at thrift stores. Next to my bootleg "Hack Your Own Brain" Johnny Mnemonic t-shirt, the Illusion of Gaia shirt that came with the SNES game was my favorite. So soft!

My brothers and I went through a zillion of these scratch-off card packs during a road trip to see Grandma and Grandpa. The best cards were the Punch-Out ones, because some of the circles said "LOW BLOW" when you scratched them off. The L was curved to fit the circle, so it looked like it said COW BLOW. We thought that was hilarious for some reason.
We also had the Zaxxon board game. I have never in my life played Zaxxon, or seen anyone else play it. That one's a mystery.

I have some friends in ft collins who wrote a letter to nintendo about their undying love for monkeyball2. Nintendo responded with a bunch of Japanese t-shirts and stickers... And they went nuts, stickering the whole ceiling of the tv room and ranking the t shirts like the 4square squares. So when you played, you had to ante your shirt.
In fairness, they were already nuts. They eventually were evicted because their fire pit grew and grew and exposed some unknown pipe. So the next time the police came for a party the homeowner was notified. And that was that.
