Freak Watcher's Textbook. I am glad I waited to get the textbook before looking at freaks (or freaks eating cats). Now with this professional guide, I can watch like a pro. I assume Sally Struthers will be adding "Freak Watching" to her list of accredited courses.

Oh dear...I live a few blocks from Royal Oak's main street. Sad thing is...they hit the 'burb right on the head. Yeah, this is the type of thing that is only amusing to someone who lives in the area. Alas, that means non-Detroit area folk don't get the joy of sniggering at these pics then feeling bad.

Never been to Royal Oak, but -- I think the concept has something to it. You could probably find someone willing to put something like this together for every town, and the resulting directory could become a kind of Roadside America of humanity. And then, um, and then the freaks could find each other, and breed more and better freaks, and they'd become a real voting bloc and their voices would be heard everywhere, and ultimately (glory hallalujah!) the world would become a glorious and peaceful place, where otherness is celebrated, not marginalized, and Freaks, Lovely Freaks assume their rightful places at the head of society's table. Anyway. I'd contribute to such a directory, but I'm in New York, and I must report that there are no freaks left in New York.
