Filmmakers let the Pentagon edit their scripts in exchange for rights to use government land and military equipment. Great article complete with hilarious "military mind" quotes. Need more government/pop culture collusion? N'SYNC is getting $800,000 in tax payer's money for an anti-drug campaign.

This may not be a big deal to some of you, but I don't think I need to be spoonfed american military propaganda after paying 8.50. Air Force recruiters outside of Top Gun? Taking advantage of a post-movie buzz is very sneaky, I wonder if there were mafia recruiters outside of The Godfather. We could have just waited for on of the N'SYNC kids to get busted for something and gotten a free PSA out of them.

Yeah, Independence Day was denied funding by the military because it mentioned Area 51. Our government is too powerful, and using our own tax dollars to help fund movies is not one of the focuses our government should have. Of course, it's easy to say that (to criticize the government), but it is not to the point where anyone is willing to do anything about it. I'm working on writing a book with a new philosophy, a new way of looking at things, that is deep rooted in freedom. Americans need to take America back.
