Coming Soon! Download Version 1.00 of YETI@Home for: Windows, BeOs, OS2, Linux, Amiga Workbench, Atari ST, Altair, TRS-80, Vectrex, Babbage's Difference Engine, Palm Pilot, Sega Genesis and Timex Indiglo (sorry, not available for Macintosh).

Good thing they support the Difference Engine, because they're neglecting to write a version for my Commodore VIC-20 (purchased in Southern California for $99 at a Gemco).

Not to mention the wireless version for wap enabled binoculars.. Only one problem: The binoculars are even rarer than the Yeti's.

This sounds like one of those things that once you come up with the name, you have to go through with it and see what it looks like fully realized, like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, for example, or Dread Zeppelin or something.

(My first computer was a PET, so for a while there I got the exquisite pleasure of looking down my nose at the VIC-20 users. Until, of course, they all got sick of my taunting, and, y'know, beat me up.)
