Will this be included in the next volume of "Who Killed Amanda Palmer?"

Amanda Palmer and a sock puppet stage a meticulous re-enactment of a scene from Jim Henson's Labyrinth (see the original scene here), with a special guest appearance by a very famous writer as David Bowie's mullet. Happy Boxing Day!

Don't go that way!

If she had kept going down that way,
She'd have gone straight to a punch line.

What's wrong with her eyebrows?

I am constantly quoting, "Did you say 'hello'?" at people. I'm surprised no-one's tried to run me into a brick wall yet.

Never mind her eyebrows, didn't her mother ever tell her to keep her mouth closed? She looks like Cletus the Slack Jawed Yokel.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you haven't seen Labyrinth lately.

I watched Labyrinth right before going to see Michael Moschen (the guy who stands behind David Bowie and does the glass ball contact juggling — blind) recently and she's got the early Connelly frustrated flounce down. Watch the movie. Young Miss Connelly spends much time dashing about like a human airscoop, from either a deviated septum, faux innocence, or related, that most contrived expression of wonder.

Cletus ain't never been to the big city a-fore; his jaw is slack with amazement.

I don't think there's anything wrong with her eyebrows, they fit her perfectly.

Okay that was worth watching simply for the last 5 seconds.

OK, I compared the scenes and yes, Connelly does indeed have her mouth open a lot. So is Palmer intentionally mimicking this look, or is she just a mouth breather? All I know is I feel like I have a stuffy nose now.

Her mouth is open for that piece of cake she's always going on about.

She had me by 0:02 with the limp arm flailing. Just perfect.

Several MeFi special snowflakes were desperately hurt and offended by your use of the term "mouth-breather", you terrible c***.

She shaves her eyebrows and has tattoos there reminiscent of some sort of script. I think it fits her ever so cutting want-to-bite-her looks.

ZaneJ. thanks, didn't know that.

Are they tattoos now? Last I heard, which was admittedly a few years ago, she was drawing them on daily with eyeliner, which always reminded me of This Alien Shore....

Anyway, I was enchanted, especially because of Gaiman's MirrorMask, which was a very fitting third to the boxed set I've got with Labyrinth and Dark Crystal.

not tattoos. she draws them on. about a year ago on vacation she let neil draw them on for her to rather humorous results. she's drawn them for webshows before - it takes like 10 seconds.

<3 her, <3 labyrinth.
