I love this blog; it's like a gold mine for character design ideas and cartoon reference. All of these clothes would look pretty cool on 2D characters who could be dorky enough to lose the half-restrained, self conscious expressions some of these men are wearing. Then the fashion would be more endearing - heck, I want my cartoons this well dressed.

It's like a bad Carles making fun of fashion. As much as I appreciate satirical blogs that focus on the minutiae of popular culture, I just can't get behind this. Because while HRO focuses on criticism of the commercialization of what was once a niche culture, this blog is simply vindictive. It's like those two guys you used to hang out with in high school who made fun of everything in that romantically antiestablishment way but instead of getting stoned all the time and dropping out of state school to go to a local community college, both of them turned out to be really into fashion and decided to write a blog instead aping an already established satirical style. So thanks but no thanks. I mean, hell, I know, it's easy for things like this to perpetuate with all of the hipster backlash that's been going on for, what is it, years now? But that one cute girl who blew you off at the dive bar just because you didn't dress 'indie' enough doesn't mean the whole subculture is worth this amount of humiliation.

Well I thought that 'poetry' was some real poetry, for serious, and giggled my way right through. Honestly sometimes the relationship of sequiturness between the lines reminded me a lot of hashtag rap, which insufferable as it can certainly be, in this written context I thought to be fully hilarious. I think the hate here is in reaction to perceived hatred?, but potomac's right, sillybrational is a terrible word but totally correct.
