I asked him for a match, and he said <BLANK>.
This just brings back so very many memories... which is probably an indication that I spent too much time watching tv as a kid.

For us Brits, it was "Blankety Blank", and high camp: Kenny Everett bending Terry Wogan's microphone, then Les Dawson and his mother-in-law. Now, of course, it's Lily Savage, Britain's most favourite drag queen, in charge.
