Blood Libel Returns

Sister Sarah drags out her Cookbook of the Elders of Zion. Is Sarah Palin even capable of understanding what, clearly, her handlers wrote in her speech posted on Facebook? If she knew what "blood libel" meant, what was she thinking? If not, should someone be investigating her staff?

This post was deleted for the following reason: It's idiotic, yes, but I don't think we need a post just to discuss that fact. -- cortex

Just because Sarah Palin burps it up and posts it on the Intarwebs, is there a reason why we have to promote it here?

I suspect that Palin, in an attempt to look like she might have a brain, used the phrase completely unaware of its deeper historical meaning. Because, you know, it sounds all smart and stuff. And it isn't like she hasn't run into image problems in the past by saying things which make her look stupid.

Yeah I'm sort of feeling like we should go the Anne Coulter route with this person. Just ignore her and she will go away.

Well one can hope anyway.
