I don't take public transportaion but this is one compilation I am going to be playing in the car on my way to work. I hope this original idea gets off the ground. I am actually willing to shell out a few pounds/dollars/yen/pesos/patacons/rubles etc. for the CD.

The best compilation I've been spinning lately is this one, and the rest of the Amazon reviewers seem to agree. The song "Hot Shot City" is particularly good.

Love it. One of my favourite travel moments was riding the trams in Berlin and realising where the sample at the start of U2's 'Zoo Station' came from.
