One less hawk in Washington

After a week cooped up in the Library of Congress, the female cooper's hawk stuck inside in the dome has been captured safely. More pics.

Who's to say that library hawks wouldn't be as effective in controlling mice as library cats?

They do score lower for pettability though.

This is good news. What a gorgeous creature.

Had a good chuckle over Frick and Frack. I remember seeing the originals perform and wonder how many folks remember more than their names.
