I'm working on a portfolio site that will collect my work in a particular realm and serve as the front for that side of my career. I had planned to use a domain I've owned and marginally used for several years. It struck me that I should check on whether there are other companies with a similar name...

I recall reading a poem in third or fourth grade on the theme of late summer, involving pickled watermelon rinds and smoking corncob pipes filled with stolen cigarette butts while hanging out high up in a tree. Very specific, I know but I can't find it anywhere. Help?

I'd like my iTunes to look at a library stored on an external drive. Unfortunately, every time I think I've got it doing that, it turns out iTune's just copied the contents of that directory onto my computer. Is there any way/thing out there to solve this?

I often see the idea "[this] is equal/equivalent to [that]" expressed in shorthand as [this]
== [that]. That's pretty easy to grasp, and I've assumed that the double = is some sort of coder/geek thing.
But what about "[this] is not equal/equivalent to [that]?" Is it
!=, or would that be
=|= or
=/=? And what computer or mathmatical codeset is this pulled from?
