Hello, I'm looking for the locations of where famous crimes in San Francisco took place so I can organize a bicycle ride with some friends to check them out. So far I've come up with 101 california, the location of the last gun deul in califonria by lake merced, and the hibernia bank (patty hearsts bank robbery). any other spots that we should check out would be most appreciated, the more accurate the address, the better.

I remember an animated gif online where a stick figure bashes on his computer till his computer is destroyed, his hands are bloody stumps, he hits the computer with his head, and eventually dies. Where can I find it again?

I have some chromed steel with pretty substantial pitting and rust. However if properly restored its relatively valuable. Is there anything I can do about this myself? If it should be done professionally, where in San Francisco might I take it?

I can't identify this video card. Help! Windows 2000 won't autodetect it, and I can't find any markings on it to help me figure out what it is so I can install the proper drivers. The only clue is the ATI logo. Two pictures:

Back. (big jpgs)

I recently had a pretty nasty bicycle accident and had to have two metal plates put in my forearm. I've been given the option of having another surgery around the end of the year to have them taken out, but I really want to get back to work, and to be able to ride again, so I'm seriously considering just leaving them in. Are there any downsides to that? Or conversely, if anyones chosen to have them removed, why?

I'm going to Japan in a few weeks and I'm wondering about the differences in electrical outlets and how my laptop (powerbook g4) will be able to handle it, and if there is a special kind of adapter I need because it's a computer. All the power adaptor kits i've found thus far have been for hairdryers and what not. Anyone know?
And while I'm at it, anyone know anything good to do in Kyoto, especially for New Years? heh.
