I'm dealing with the fallout from coming out to my deeply religious immediate family. For years, I had prepared for their tears, their anger, their remonstrances, their appeals to the Bible, and all of those have come. What I hadn't prepared for was how disappointed I would be, and how fundamental and lonely that disappointment would be. Help?

I need RSS backlog management advice. In my RSS reader (Google Reader) right now are 213 subscriptions with 3,852 unread items. I'm really hesitant to dump them all. I've prioritized them as diligently as my current categorization scheme will allow, but I'm definitely open to other schemes. Your advice?

Audio and video has recently started stuttering on my computer. It might have something to do with the installation of new hard drive on Monday. It seems to be worse in some applications than others. Any ideas?

My co-blogger and I upgraded from Movable Type 2.64 to MT 3.2, mostly for the rumored spam-fighting hottness. But now we're finding ourselves having to go through and manually junk thousands of spam comments every day, tediously picking out the real stuff. We've got the latest MT-Blacklist installed, but it doesn't seem to be doing a thing, and seems to have less functionality (where'd the de-spam option go??) than our old MT-Blacklist plugin. We're getting buried, and nothing seems to be working the way it should. What do we do?

CSS positioning is driving me crazy. I have a relatively simple layout -- a header and two fixed-width columns. I could do this easily enough with tables, but I'd love to give this CSS business a try.
My current main problem involves Internet Explorer (shocked, SHOCKED!!) and wacky spaces. There's a heaping serving o' more inside.

I have the key to get into my apartment. The key to open my apartment complex's gym. The one for the pool. The remote to open the gate to the complex. The mailbox key. My Albertson's Preferred Savings card. My car key. My car remote. My office key. Two random keys that unlock things I'm not sure I even own anymore, but other than that, I use all these keys on a daily basis. My keyring currently composes half the bulk of my outfit on any given day. Please help me.

PowerPoint question: I want the basic layout of all my slides to have a title, a website screenshot on the left with a semitransparent shadow, and bullets on the right. The basic layout is easy, the automatic image formatting is not. Is there any way to apply a default style to all your images?

I'm trying to code a list of links to all open in the same new browser window. Since every link in the document should open in the same window, I'm using the {base} tag, for the sake of simplicity and size, but I've also tried adding "target='random_name'" to every single link on the page. Nothing's working. All the links are opening in new windows. Help?
