Yes, MeFi is often quite sexist. The post in question didn't trigger any outrage in me. But I may have outrage fatigue. This thread, however, is pretty annoying. Lots of "Oh, feminism, how tiresome".

Maybe, instead, you could craft a really great front page post about child sex predators, the consequences of their behavior, some reasons why people become heinous criminals, some good research on the topic, and some stories that illustrate it. It's a profoundly sad story, but money will do nothing to help, now. An organization that does good research, and that tries to understand and stop this sort of atrocity, would be a good find, and worth donations.

The member does not seem to have violated any guidelines. The member appears to be in need of psychiatric help. Why not answer the questions honestly with the need for psychiatric help in mind?

If any or all of it is accurate, or a pack of paranoid delusions, honest expressions of concern, and useful answers, may help, and seem unlikely to hurt.

It's odd to me that promiscuous, which is quite an accurate word, is seen as loaded, but not prude. Is a woman a prude if she is not promiscuous? Being called a prude is one of the ways a woman may be pressured to have sex. Prudishness, to me, connotes a dislike and fear of anything sexual. A person can be pro-sex, well-informed, not squeamish, etc., and choose not to be sexually active, can't she?

Lately, while Googling various items of no particular import, I have gotten many hits for AskMe. Members, especially if they've been around awhile, mostly understand that it's a community, with smart people, nice people, some well-intentioned dunderheads, a few village idiots, and a few malicious jackasses. The site(s) don't need new members, especially the front page. New members are fine; those who are interested in joining and being active are welcome. If some people just want to use ask.me, no problem. Those who are curious & interested will easily find the other sites, and grasp their functions. Not everybody uses Projects or Music or MeTa or Jobs, either. Large volumes of new users on the Blue has not necessarily encouraged quality posts/comments.
