Meal ideas/Recipes - staying w/ my Mom, whose teeth are in the process of being repaired. She can only eat soft food. Need recipes with ground chicken, turkey, beef, etc. Mom's tastes are pretty traditional, not loving the spicy.

It's time, once again, for a menu idea for an annual potluck at my house. Past successes have included veggie lasagne, rice noodles w/ peanut sauce, chicken/spinach curry, potroast, chicken wings, potatoes au gratin, corn pudding.
Health conscious, veggie friendly, no red meat (the potroast was popular, but I made a nonmeat alternative, and that's a lot of extra work). Preferably not incredibly untidy to eat, as it's buffet and laps. No Canned "Cream of" Soups. Money is not unlimited, so no lobster or caviar. I like to cook, but nothing terribly complicated. @ 15 people.

Broadband in Antigua, Guatemala?
Any expertise on getting a reliable fast or broadband connection in Antigua, Guatemala would be appreciated. A friend needs to telecommute for several months.

I've been happy with my IBM Thinkpad T21, but I want CD-RW, DVD and something shiny & new. I'm looking at an IBM TPad R40 model 2681 - Celeron 2.0GHz RAM256 HD40G CD-RW/DVD + 802.11B Wifi from a reliable online vendor. US 575. Will I regret the Celeron as opposed to PIII?

Yeah, I know, use crappy software, reap crap, but I Want My EMails. Still have drafts, sent and deleted. Lots of tools to buy online, looking for one that's reliable, preferably free.

Can 4 strong guys move a piano up 1 flight of stairs safely? and are there techniques or strategies in addition to brute force? Upright piano abandoned by 1st floor neighbors. I'd like to have it, but don't want anyone getting hurt.

Does bleach need to be neutralized after the mildew is cleaned, and before painting? Bad mildew in the tenant's bathroom. Scrubbed with 1:2 bleach:water to great success. After it is rinsed, then dries thoroughly, can it be primed and painted, or does it have to be neutralized, or ??

I'm looking for a copy of the Muppet pilot that was on tv in the mid-70s.
Googling found this: Before it became a syndicated series, Jim Henson and his associates produced The Muppet Show Pilot: Sex and Violence for ABC. It featured Muppet Show characters Dr. Teeth, Janice, Animal, and others. Notably, it featured a tribute to the Seven Deadly Sins.

Multipart question: Scumware, spyware, adware, it's all malware, I say. Currently using both
Spybot and
Adaware to catch and kill most of this crap.
1. Looking for feedback on the best spyware killers for home and work.
2. Are Norton and Macafee working on adding spware killers to their anti-virus packages?
3. Some of this stuff launches using svchost.exe. Where in the registry, besides
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and its relatives, do services launch?

My dance group is looking for a way to play CDs at variable speeds. There are a few
variable speed CD players on the market, or, it's likely that a laptop could be used to play CDs and .mp3s at variable speed. (Variable speed is really useful for teaching dances.) We have raised $600 so far. Experiences? Recommendations?
