Matt, curious why you chose most days in a row. Shouldn't it be most days in a month? Shouldn't the person who rides 14 days, takes a day off, rides 15 more days be rewarded more than the person who rides 16 days in a row but no others? Seems like an odd decision to me.

Since the example of the guy today happened... isn't it possible to game MeFi so that any links to a particular domain automatically redirect back to MeFi? For instance, if Example guy comes back and posts again to his site than no one will ever hit it before admins see it? I imagine that even though he got banned the first time, his returning means he managed to get $5 min worth of hits or he wouldn't have done it again.

Calm down. Hold the left button down on one of the arrows. And calm down. The history menu will appear in about 1/4 of a second. And just freaking calm down already.

I don't want the history menu. I want to be able to middle click on the back and forth buttons and open those in new tabs. Used to work great. Not anymore.

I forgot to mention that I was trying to buy CKmtl a gift to thank him for the hard work, but he's in Canada and Amazon refuses to let me send him a xbox360 as a gift, and apparently amazon.ca doesn't even sell xboxes. WTF Microsoft/Amazon?!

a. he's selling shit on there that he doesn't want any competition at (ie, wants to delete his competitors' ads) or

b. he's buying shit on there that he wants to delete the ads of immediately after emailing the seller (ie, so that no one else will see the ad).

Can you outline what your dream system might look like?

My absolute dream setup would be to be able to give myself a reason reminder ("expert on WigglyPoos" or whatever) and also drop in a series of tags attached to that user. Then, every time that user comments in a thread tagged with that tag, I'd get a notification of some kind, whether that be that their activity only light up in the sidebar when that condition is met or I get a Mail or...
