Ah, that's just more of DaShiv's magic. He has this extra robotic arm (kind of like Dr. Octopus) that he uses to move his flashes around and even take pictures, when women are involved.

I know that matthowie seems to be down on the idea, but I also vote in favor of combining the question and title fields into one thing (called, say, "brief description of your question") that has a character limit. (The character limit could be generous enough to allow for most questions, say 150 characters. The page header could be a truncated version of that, say, the first 75 characters.) I dropped by the Mandrake today, and it is pretty interesting. But, it is tiny...

I also did a sweep of the bars near where I live, and here are a couple of possibilities:

O'Brien's Irish Pub - nice, but crowded.

The Shack - zero atmosphere, but no crowds, and lots of parking.

Also, I guess we could always go back to Boardwalk 11.

All this talk about the sideblog made me take a closer look at it, and I really feel that the front page looks ubablanced with a sideblog on the right, but no sideblog on the left.
