Has anyone used
stubhub.com to buy tickets? I want to buy tickets for an MLB opening day game, though these are yet 'officially' on sale. Will I be screwed buying one from this site? Please explain to me how a 7200rpm SATA external hard drive (USB 2 or Firewire 800) can be written to / read from as expediently as a 7200 RPM SATA internal hard drive? It doesn't seem to make sense. Isn't the USB/Firewire a bottleneck? Why would an external drive be as suitable for audio recording as an internal?

I have an XBox 360 that I'd like to use to play divx/mpeg/mov files on the TV. I have a house full of Apple machines. Lastly, I don't want to violate the XBox warranty (and lose XBox Live). Is there anything I can do?

So I bought the new Decemberists' record
The Crane Wife and iTunes (7.0.2) on OS 10.4.8 won't recognize it; just spits the CD tray back out. This is making me really angry(!!) as I'm thinking it's some DRM issue. Anyone else have this experience?

We've been talking to a generally nice/enthusiastic real estate agent for the purposes of selling our home. She's quoted us that approximately 9-10% of the listing price will go to cover her commission, the other agent's commission, and the various closing costs in between. This strikes us as rather high - we were thinking 5-6%. What's the breakdown and truth here?
