Damn, I've wanted to do that for a long time.

Is this thread front page material?

Nope. And I don't really think this one is either.

I'm surprised no one has quoted the definitive, Homicide definition:

"Snarky: from the ancient Latin word meaning 'Butthead.'"

MeTa post: Okay. I asked it in a thread, and only got one...
Err.. define "shitstorm".

Use pictures, if necessary.

MeTa post: Login weirdness with Opera 6.04: After I enter...
I just switched to 6.04 from 5. I don't think this ever cropped up with 5, and I haven't seen it on any other site.

On the whole, 6.04 seems like a really good upgrade - for some reason, when 6.0 came out I gave it a try and decided to stick with 5. But whatever was bugging me before seems to have been taken care of - the new version's veddy veddy nice..

Wacky, why don't you just start a new account? You could call yourself ThePosterFormerlyKnownAswakybrit. Heh..

Actually, if Matt wanted to, a formal way to do name changes might be a 'kill this account' link, which takes you to the new user registration page and automagically inserts a note in yer user profile about who you used to be. Maybe allowed, say, once a year tops?

I love the guy, [but] I gotta cut it, especially with the new people with posting power sitting around learning from these lessons.

Still, sort of a shame - when I came by there were already about 20 comments. How many posts that aren't about US politics pull in twenty comments that fast?
