I’m looking for reviews/recommendations with respect to small-group or small-boat tour companies. I’d like to go somewhere exotic, have someone else worry about all the details, and be assured of a great experience. Any advice?

They can put a man on the moon, but they can’t make an indestructible plush dog toy? My dog loves the stuffed animals, but is extremely rough on them. Even the best ones are unstuffed or decapitated within a couple of weeks. Any leads on durable furries?

My mom's XP Home (on a Dell laptop) won't recognize her Minolta Dimage XT camera anymore. She's at wit's end, and I'm nowhere near to play around with it. She replaced the driver and double-checked the cable connections. Still no luck Can you give any troubleshooting suggestions?

I vaguely recall hearing about an employee emailing his/her company's confidential salary information to all employees. I've googled and Snoped, but to no avail. I know this was in some commercial, but did it happen in real life?

I'm looking for the original source of a Charles Darwin quote, which is sometimes stated as "It is not the strongest of the species that survive, not the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change." This isn't easy since seemingly thousands of authors and public speakers have quoted him without referencing the source (although they do attribute it to Darwin). Can you help? [more versions of the quote inside]
