A upbeat, country-ish number about a guy who'd like his girl to finish up that last drink so we can hit the road already...

I came up with a weird little guitar line with a droning D string and put it over a steady tom beat punctuated with the occasional triangle. Figured it would be one of my RPM songs that didn't get used by my band, but the singer and bass player both love it. Anybody got and ideas on how to do this one with a group?

I wrote this one at the last minute because I needed one more song for my RPM 2008 entry, but it has turned out to be one of my favorites.

A happy little song about a very annoying man.

And it woulda been, if I coulda thought of any decent lyrics on that sugar-laden theme. As it is I'll backdoor this MeFi Music Challenge entry with a reference in the title. (Though I think I get the "brisk" tag legitimately.)

Our bass player wrote this song about a little girl in Afghanistan, probably the closest we come to a political song

This song was written about a friend with too many loser friends.

A song we wrote about a month before we recorded it last August, with lyrics by our singer Red

A song of loneliness and betrayal - sounds fun, right?

Another "raw mix" alcohol-related song, this time as the solution to, instead of cause of, all life's problems.

I wrote this song for my friends that can't handle their alcohol. This is a very raw mix from our recording session this past Saturday. (lyrics inside)

So named because it is also split into two parts, first small then larger, and kinda makes me feel like I did standing on the bridge in between.

Another mellow instrumental. If the last one was indie film roadtrip music, this one is low budget spaghetti western...

What do you get when you combine a new copy of Guitar Tracks, a cheap ass guitar with old, grimy strings, and a six pack? I don't know, but it makes me smile.

I know you never meant to bring it quite to this place
And everybody watching can see it's a hell of a show
I know you're only feeling like a mouse in a rat race
But there's just one thing I think you ought to know
If it's down to me or you, you got to go

Been listening to a lot of great demos and rough tracks here lately, which has given me the courage to post one of my early attempts at home recording, just putting a melody over some chords.

This is a
Red On Strike recording from about 6 years ago, and features a great live intro from Red...

This is a song written by
Red On Strike's rhythm guitarist, Camron Gasser, inspired by a particularly bad day at work. Can't you see bleeding hands don't lie?
