If you don't get it, please don't comment - I use the name for things outside mefi too - and various parts of my work have been referenced using that name ( you can google it yourselves )- so it raises issues for me and some of the work I do or work that is in progress - you could whois the domain name as well if you're really that interested.

What i would like to do is talk to the chaps involved and see whats what - I'm really not able to say a whole lot more than that at the moment.

you can control all nikon flashes remotely with a d80 - perhaps you would want to get an sb200 to control them overall - you dont need pocket wizards with the nikon lighting system.

To answer your question - i would see a doctor about how to taper off alcohol, stopping drinking suddenly can give you a seizure - which at worst will kill you, at best will make you feel as though your head is being squeezed in a vice until you pass out.

For photoshop on a laptop, having the wacom tablet built right into the screen, and a secret slot in the laptop to hold the stylus, is as good as it gets. I'm never going back, and I now view the ergonomics of un-enabled laptops as terrible.

problem solved - it was the cd burning program that created the ghost drive - i deleted the program and the drive went away.

we had a professional photographer (Ewan Myles) come to college recently, he told us that not only is film dead, but that Canon are about 18 months ahead of Nikon in terms of high iso speeds and low noise - he no longer needs to take lights out with him on shoots. I've got a nikon sitting right here - but as soon as the next bit of cash comes in i'll be going for high iso Canon.
