Searchme - Visual Search Engine
oh my god, i love this thing.
whenever i try a new search engine, i usually search for my nick 'yeoz', and, there were all the normal links for me, my flickr page, etc., and, out of the blue it shows this post in the blue. I would've never seen that post if it weren't for this search engine. I love it.

Flickr founders leaving Yahoo
fuck photo sharing. bring back GNE!
I'm just going to go ahead and assume that the resignation letter is one big nod towards a gne-like already in progress, and that we'll all be camping the mines and yoinking tin in an upcoming gne-like game.

Put your headphones on
I kept hearing "no brain" which i suppose could be quite frightening if you're somewhat paranoid and you begin to wonder if you're being brain washed via strange audio frequencies...

The island where eye color can kill you.
What I don't understand is, wouldn't all the brown-eyed people all kill themselves at the same time as the blue-eyed people for the same exact reasoning that the blue-eyed people would?

Mass Effect
Mass Effect is the reason that I've mostly stopped playing Super Mario Galaxy. Mass Effect is so engrossing that I can't stop when I do play it. I record one level of SMG for youtube every night, then I go right into Mass Effect. Every day. For the past week.

The secret life of refrigerators
Sk4n, my understanding is that in the US, commerical eggs are washed mechanically, and, that destroys the protective membrane on the egg, which would've protected an unrefrigerated egg. Fresh unwashed eggs (right out of a chicken?) would retain it's protective membrane, and would not need to be refrigerated. See this for some more details. I'm pretty sure I even read about this on AskMefi at some point, but, I can't find anything in a cursory search.... [more]

Interest is accrued at the start of each wave, so, you should finish off the wave first, if you want to maximize interest...

In fact, for that reason, you shouldn't build stuff between waves, but, build during waves, just to make a little more interest.

12. How to Die
The point of the party is not your leaving it. Apologize for any breakage, thank your hosts, listen when they say they were glad you could come, mean it when you say you had a wonderful time, then grab your coat and go. Make sure the door closes behind you. Don't forget your hat.
I'm confused.

Flash Onslaught.
Once you've upgraded the red turrets enough, they have a holding pattern, and missles are constantly kept in the air.
Game kinda plays itself at that point...

savescummer is less fun.
It lacks the depth that NPC Quest has, because it doesn't appear that I can do very much. Except alter time/rolls, but, that takes too much work... Even hitting left and right to have the game generate new floors to try to prevent a death is tedious. Definitely feels like I have less control over the game,...
But, at least I can let savescummer play by itself in the background.
