I've recently noticed my face is flushing frequently, with the appearance of a few red blemishes I can't get rid of (like a blocked pore surrounded by red).
I live in a cold country, so the weather might have something to do with it, and I've tried eliminating any of alcohol, coffee, cigarettes, marijuana, and other more heinous substances, but they won't go away.
Does anybody have any advice as how to eliminate these blemishes, or prevent more from showing up?

So, my new roommate brought a cat with her, and she's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I want her to eat wet food as well as dry (she seems to love it), but everytime I open the can I retch. Has anybody found a way around this?

User Interface terminology question. If we are describing the state of a push button (that is, a button that can be toggled between an on and off state), what is the most universally recognized terminology for the two states of the button? We've come up with pressed and non-pressed, depressed and non-depressed, checked and unchecked, etc... (obviously, enabled and disabled doesn't work). Anybody know the official guidelines for this? We're stumped.

Cat flu: I'm looking after a cat for a friend, and she recently (yesterday) got a runny nose, and coughs some. She also appears listless and bored. I'm stuck at work and will get her to the vet ASAP, but for now I need some reassurance that this isn't fatal? Thanks!
