I got the job! Now, what?

So, I was just offered a job. It's a 12 month contract that will be going perm in the next year. So, first order of business is to find health insurance. Help me find the best option for me.

Multivitamins. Does anyone know of a good brand? I've tried everything from $50 bottles to the generic drug store brands and haven't noticed that much of a difference. Is it worth it to spend more? What types of vitamins and minerals are essential in a multivitamin? I'm a relatively healthy 34 year old white male who works out about 3 times a week.

Why did my DVD player on my IBM ThinkPad laptop...

Why did my DVD player on my IBM ThinkPad laptop stop being able to read Audio CDs? It still plays DVDs fine, but when I insert an audio CD I get "Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted..." I've searched all over for a solution to this problem and have found people with similar problems, but haven't been able to find a solution. [more inside]
