I don't speak Spanish (trying to learn)and I have gotten hooked on a few telenovelas such as Rebelde. Does anyone know of a source-either English or Spanish-that would give a synopsis of these shows? I just gotta find out what's going on!

Is there a way I can send a picture in the body of an email if I use Hotmail? I'm responsible for sending out an email announcement and they want me to use the group's logo plus a picture of our guest. When I tried it all I got was the annoying red x box. Am I up the creek?

I-know-you-aren't-a-doctor-but-filter: I have been exercising for two years...I go to the gym four or five times a week and take a LOT of spin classes-I'm in pretty good shape. At the end of one class this week my chest started hurting (more inside)

I just bought a Liz Claiborne sweater at Goodwill for five bucks. I forgot to check-and sure enough the tag says "Dry Clean Only." Since I am cheap, this is not really an option. And since the garment was cheap I am not afraid to take a risk. So-any suggestions from you folks about how to launder this thing at home?

My daughter was hired at Wal-mart full time (with benefits after a period of time) in their photo lab...just as she was about to achieve that time (surprise surprise) they cut her to thirty hours. Part time.
First, has this happened to anyone else you know? Is it pretty common practice? And if provable, would this be considered an illegal practice?

After catching a couple of back-to-back
Cops reruns (the Mardi Gras edition complete with drunks and flashers of all sorts) I have to ask-WHY do these individuals give permission to show video evidence of probably one of the most embarrasing moments of their lives? Or do the producers of the show not have to get their permission?

They had a blood drive at my daughter's high school today. She just came home and informed me her blood pressure was 64 over 40 when they took it-and that her sister's was 70 over something or other. Mine is 100 over 60, and that's low enough-do I need to rush these kids to a doctor, or was the person taking the blood pressure in need of a job change?

We are having an antiwar rally here in Fayetteville tomorrow...and of course there will be a counterrally as well. My question to you all is this: We have been told that we are not allowed to carry signs larger than 2 feet by 2 feet-which is smaller than the average size poster board. Have any of you ever participated in a protest and been restricted in such a manner? (this is by police order, and I am rather stunned.)

I write and compose music. What I would like to know is what kind of basic equipment do I need to start laying down my own tracks and orchestrating my own stuff? My expensive toy PSR500M Yamaha has just enough bells and whistles to tantalize me as to what is possible to do. I have to start small, as finances are an issue at present.

Yes, this is a dumb question, but here goes:
Is there anything I can do to convince my son that the hobbits in LOTR are not gay? (Not meant to slam gay mefites, but I doubt gay hobbits would be true to the books. Besides, he's sure he's right and I like to prove him wrong occasionally.)

After perusing bluehammer's question regarding his inlaws and his computer, it made me onder-is there any source online that would walk the average naive computer user thru some of these basic solutions to problems-and in some cases point out the problems in the first place? My son and husband are geeks, to be sure, but I would like to learn this sort of thing on my own. (Don't ask me to get them to show me-I don't need the aggravation.)

I have googled and googled but to no avail, so I turn to you all:
What I want are the complete lyrics to "Percy the Puny Ponsettia." This was the B side to "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer." All I have been able to find on my own are sections of it. Such as "even a plant with no uncle or aunt shouldn't spend Christmas Eve by himself."
(This isn't a joke, this really is a song, and I really really want the lyrics. ) Thank you in advance.

When my insurance (COBRA) ends in March, what can I do? Private insurance is prohibitively expensive, and chances are with my preexisting health problems I may not be able to get insurance at all. Worst part is my monthly prescriptions are extremely expensive-we are talking the price of a car payment here, if not more.
Any suggestions, besides moving to Canada?
