Actually, I think Canada is bigger than Europe - or so it appears to be on this map. All maps distort, of course, but in squarish maps it tends to be similar across similar latitudes, so the distorition making Canada bigger would also make Europe bigger.

If you look at a Peters Map, such as this one, the two appear rather equal in size.

I also wonder what your position on abortions would be if you would have lived in Communist Romania, where any method of protection (condoms, pill) and abortions were outlawed, thus making illegal (and through dreadful methods) abortions the norm. 'Normal' apartments in Bucharest do not go over 25.000€ (2 rooms), 35.000€ (3 rooms).

My 4 rooms apartment, heavily modified, would go for about 80.000€. It's around 100 sq. meters (1 076 sq. foot).

So, I'd say there's something special about that apartment in the front post.

Restrictions or no restrictions, drawbacks or no drawbacks, there is nary a reasonable Romanian who will complain about any steps taken to integrate with the rest of Europe and the rest of the world.

That's true, but most of them down here that will be affected by the entry will be the rural folk. We desperately need to fix things up in our agricultural system, and our current government did not do much.
